This entire action was done under the supervision of the CMO. This is the first case in India where the Supreme Court has given permission for euthanasia of a person.

Expansion

After 13 years of struggle, Harish Rana was shifted to AIIMS on Saturday after the Supreme Court’s decision on passive euthanasia. He has been shifted to the Palliative Care Department of AIIMS in a very confidential manner. The process of removing Harish’s life support has also started under the supervision of experts in the department.
