At the same time, director Sanoj Mishra, who gave acting opportunity to Monalisa, has even called it ‘Love Jihad’. Monalisa said – this is not ‘love jihad’
In the press conference, Monalisa said that her marriage took place as per Hindu customs and there is no ‘love jihad’ in it. She said that she respects all religions and considers every religion equal.
Monalisa told that her family wanted her to marry someone else, but she did not like that relationship. Therefore, she decided to marry Farman Khan as per her choice.

did not convert
Monalisa’s husband Farman Khan also said that neither of them has converted to religion. He said that it is not necessary to change religion in love.
Farman also informed that he has registered the marriage. Describing her age as 18 years, Monalisa said that she is an adult and has married as per her wish. He also expressed gratitude for the cooperation of Kerala Police.

Farman Khan’s family is from Baghpat district.
According to the information, Farman Khan’s house is in Baghpat district of Uttar Pradesh. His father does farming and he also has two brothers in the family. It is said that after a dispute at home, Farman had left the house about ten years ago.
Farman is also working in the field of film and direction. About a year ago, he had come to Baghpat to meet his family. Now after his marriage with Monalisa, he has come into limelight.
