Due to the ongoing war between Iran and Israel, many international flights to and from Gulf countries were also canceled on Wednesday.
Airport sources said that due to fog since morning, visibility at Lucknow airport was low. Due to this reason, Indigo flight (6E 608) which reached Lucknow from Hyderabad at 8:05 am could not land at Lucknow airport. Due to low visibility, the plane was not given permission to land by ATC. Later he was diverted to Delhi.
At the same time, Indigo flight (6E 2108) going from Lucknow to Delhi at 6:10 am was delayed by about 1 hour and Flynn’s flight (XY 897) going to Dammam at 6:15 am was delayed at 9:05 am. Similarly, Indigo flight (6E 325) leaving from Lucknow at 8:45 am to Bengaluru could take off after a quarter of an hour at 10 am.
On the other hand, due to the ongoing war between Iran and Israel, Indigo’s international flight (6E 1416) arriving from Abu Dhabi to Lucknow at 6:05 am was cancelled. Similarly, Indigo flight (6E 1424) arriving from Sharjah to Lucknow at 7:05 am was cancelled.
Apart from this, Indigo flight (6E98) arriving from Dammam to Lucknow at 8 pm was also cancelled. Also, IndiGo flight 6E 1415 from Lucknow to Abu Dhabi at 8:35 pm was cancelled. Similarly, IndiGo flight (6E 97) going to Dammam at 9 pm and IndiGo flight (6E 1423) going to Sharjah at 10 pm were also cancelled.
