With India’s victory in the T-20 World Cup, Mahi has once again proved to be the Alexander of destiny. Of course, world champion India got the glittering ICC trophy, but Mahi has already included the real diamond in his team.

Dhoni, who plays for Chennai Super Kings, started preparations for IPL 2026.
Mahendra Singh Dhoni was batting, Chennai Super Kings was facing Rajasthan Royals. Jofra Archer was responsible for the bowling attack. The ball first hit Dhoni’s bat, then hit his feet and hit the stumps. Chennai fans were disappointed, but in the next moment their faces lit up. The ball definitely hit the stumps but the bails did not fall. Rajasthan players were upset and commentators were surprised. This was not the first time that the world saw Dhoni’s fate, but perhaps it was the first time in the history of cricket.
With India’s victory in the T-20 World Cup, Mahi has once again proved to be the Alexander of destiny. Of course, world champion India got the glittering ICC trophy, but Mahi has already included the real diamond in his team. This diamond is Sanju Samson, who has emerged as the biggest hero of India’s victory. Sanju has scored 3 half-centuries in the last four important matches of India in the World Cup.
Big cricket experts including former Indian cricketer R Ashwin, former Pakistani cricketer Rashid Latif, AB de Villiers say that Sanju is in his best form. Dhoni will directly benefit from this form of Samson in the upcoming IPL season. The special thing is that even when the bails did not fall on the stumps, Rajasthan Royals were in front of Dhoni and this time also CSK has traded Sanju from Rajasthan.
Dhoni is considered to be the Alexander of destiny, cricket experts also believe that if the match is tied and Dhoni is on the field, then there is definitely some turning point which goes in Dhoni’s favor. Be it winning on the last ball or completely overturning a lost match. This has happened many times in IPL. In the match mentioned above in 2019 against Rajasthan Royals and CSK, while chasing the target, CSK had 4 wickets for 24 runs, but the stumps gave life to Dhoni and he along with Ambati Rayudu took the team to the threshold of victory. CSK won this match on the last ball.
Chennai Super Kings had traded Sanju Samson. For this, CSK had to give two of its players Ravindra Jadeja and Sam Curran to Rajasthan Royals. According to the finalized deal, CSK will pay Sanju Sassaman the same fee that he used to get in Rajasthan Royals, which is Rs 18 crore. Although Ravindra Jadeja suffered a loss in this trade, to whom Chennai was paying Rs 18 crore, but in Rajasthan he will get Rs 14 crore. Whereas Sam Curran will get only Rs 2.4 crore in Rajasthan Royals which CSK was also giving him.
After the completion of this trade, Managing Director Kasi Vishwanathan had said that we needed an opening batsman, for which Sanju is an excellent option. Their skills and achievements match our needs. In return, we had to give Ravindra Jadeja and Sam Curran, which is the most difficult decision for us. However, before the trade, we have taken the decision based on discussions with Jadeja and Karan.
