A heart-wrenching case has come to light from Bhadohi district of Uttar Pradesh, where an attempt has been made to kill a person by burning him alive. The case has come to light from Pipargaon of Gyanpur Kotwali, Pradhan Pradhan and his son are accused of trying to kill a person by burning him alive. The police have taken cognizance of the matter and are interrogating two people in custody.
Actually, this case is from Bhadohi in UP, where an attempt has been made to burn alive a person who had reached the village head’s house demanding repair of hand pump. In the incident, 55-year-old Jaslal Saroj sustained 80 percent burn injuries and has been referred to BHU from the district hospital, where his condition remains critical. Superintendent of Police Abhimanyu Manglik said that a case has been registered and further legal action is being taken.
The person had gone with a demand to repair the hand pump
It is being told that Jaslal Saroj had reached Pradhan’s house in Pipargaon of Gyanpur Kotwali demanding repair of the hand pump of the house. It is alleged that during this time Pradhan Mantri Ram Nayak Yadav and his son sprinkled petrol on him and set him on fire. The person got badly burnt in the incident. The person has been referred to BHU from District Hospital Bhadohi in critical condition.

SP Abhimanyu Manglik said that the police reached the spot after being informed by the head. The victim has been admitted to the hospital. A can of petrol has been recovered at the spot. Two people are being detained and interrogated in the case. The victim has also, in a statement given to his family on mobile, accused the Pradhanpati and his son of setting the fire. The police is busy investigating the entire matter.
