Israel has confirmed a major attack on fuel storage centers in Iran’s capital Tehran amid increasing conflict in West Asia. Israel’s military said it targeted several fuel storage complexes in Tehran. After the attacks, fire and dense smoke spread in many areas of the city. Following the attacks, heavy smoke spread over Tehran and surrounding areas. A young woman living in the city said that smoke was visible all over the city and the smell of burning was felt. In the video that surfaced on social media, flames were seen high in the sky. It was told that at many places the sky was visible red even at night. However, there has been no official confirmation of any casualties yet.

People also heard loud explosions in Karaj city of Alborz province, located near Tehran. A local resident said that first a bright red light was seen in the sky and then flames spread across the area. He said that his mother was very scared and the family members went to the terrace to see what had happened. Another youth said that after the blast it seemed as if the night had suddenly turned into day.
What was said about oil supply and situation?
Iran’s national oil company said some fuel depots in Tehran and Alborz province were attacked. However, the company says that fuel supply in both the provinces is being continued from other sources. According to local reports, fuel depots were also targeted in three different areas, including Karaj, west of the capital. State TV reported that a refinery south of Tehran also caught fire after the attack. These incidents have further increased the already existing tension in West Asia.
