Bihar Deputy CM Samrat Chaudhary has made a scathing attack on West Bengal Chief Minister Mamata Banerjee. He alleged that Mamata Banerjee, the President of the country Draupadi Murmu Has been insulted and it is against the respect of the tribal society.
According to ANI, while talking to journalists in Patna, Samrat Chaudhary said that Mamata Banerjee did more to insult a tribal sister than the President. He further said that the public is watching everything and will definitely give its answer when the time comes. He said that the people of West Bengal will respond to this behavior in the coming times. According to him, the people of Bengal will teach Mamata Banerjee a lesson in the next two months.

On the allegations of the opposition, Chief Minister Mamata Banerjee’s office, while writing on the social media platform X, said that the International Santal Council is a private organization. He had invited the President to the 9th International Tribal Santal Conference held in Siliguri. After the process of Advanced Security Liaison, the district administration had told the President’s Secretariat in writing that the organizers of the program did not seem capable of making adequate preparations. Also wrote that the advance team of the President’s Secretariat visited the site on 05.03.2026 and was also informed about the lack of preparations there. Despite this, the program continued as scheduled. The Honorable President was welcomed and bid farewell by the Mayor of Siliguri Municipal Corporation, the District Magistrate of Darjeeling and the Police Commissioner of Siliguri Police Commissionerate. All this happened as per the protocol already decided and approved by the President’s Secretariat.
The West Bengal Chief Minister was not part of the event’s welcome lineup or stage planning. Therefore, there was no protocol lapse of any kind on the part of the district administration. BJP is misusing and insulting the highest office of the country for its political agenda. This is extremely unfortunate.
