No bridge, no easy path… yet children cross the river to go to school, people are surprised to see the passion for education!

While for most children going to school means traveling by bus or walking a short distance, for some children the path to education is much more difficult. In a video going viral on social media, it can be seen that children cross the river to reach school every day. It is being told that this video is from Garo Hills area, where children from nearby villages have to cross the flowing Norang River to reach school. Due to lack of bridge in the area, crossing this river has become a daily routine for them. It can be seen in the video that the children carefully enter the river together and slowly reach the other side. They take this risk every day, despite strong currents and changing water levels, just so they can continue their studies. This scene may be shocking for many people, but for these children it is a part of their everyday life.
