Ludhiana Rape News: A shocking incident has come to light from Ludhiana, Punjab. Here a 16 year old girl has given birth to a child. The girl was admitted to the hospital after complaining of back pain. Where after examination the doctor told the minor’s family that the girl is going to become a mother.
After giving birth to the child, when the mother of the minor asked her about whose child it was, she told her mother that a shopkeeper and his friend had raped her. The mother was shocked to hear her daughter’s words and the matter reached the police.
Minor’s mother lodged complaint with police
The mother of the victim girl told the police that on March 5, 2026, her daughter started having back pain. When his condition worsened, they took him to Jain Hospital in Jodhewal Basti, where the doctor prescribed pain medication. When the pain increased in the evening, the girl gave birth to a child. They were also surprised when they came to know about the birth of the child.
Minor girl used to work at a shop
The girl told that earlier she used to work at Deepak Building Material shop on Khasia Road. The minor girl alleges that shop owner Deepak Soni and his friend Babban Thakur threatened her and repeatedly raped her on a bed inside the shop without her consent.
On the complaint of the victim’s family members, Meharban police station has registered a case against the accused under Section 64, 351 (2) of the Indian Penal Code and Section 4 of the POCSO Act and started investigation. Also, raids are being conducted to arrest the accused. Police say that soon all the accused will be inside the jail.
