
The name of Samastipur district of Bihar has once again become famous in the country. Here, Prof. resident of Rajajan village of Mohiuddinnagar block. Abhishek Chauhan, son of Dr. Abhay Kumar Singh and Anuradha Rajput, has created history in the Union Public Service Commission examination.
Abhishek Chauhan has become IPS in the first attempt by securing 102nd rank. With this big achievement he has made the entire district proud. Abhishek Chauhan was born on 18 November 1999 in a hospital in Pusa. He has been a brilliant student since childhood.
Abhishek did his primary education from Hajipur.
Abhishek Chauhan started his early studies from Akshara School in Hajipur. From where he entered the world of studies by simultaneously taking the examination for enrollment in class 6th in Sainik School and RK Mission. From where he brought glory to the district by becoming a gold medalist while completing M.Tech.
Also, Abhishek had started preparing for Public Service Commission after the marriage of his sister Medha Chauhan in 2022. After passing the PT and Mains examination of the Union Public Service Commission for the first time in 2025, he displayed his ability brilliantly in the interview in 2026 by giving accurate answers to the questions being asked by the members.
Everyone’s faces lit up as soon as the results came.
As soon as the results of the Union Public Service Commission examination were declared on Friday (6 March), he got the IPS post in the 102nd rank. Let us tell you that Abhishek Chauhan’s father Prof. Dr. Abhay Kumar Singh is the Registrar of Nalanda Open University. There is an atmosphere of happiness in his maternal uncle’s house including his uncle PACS President Ajay Kumar Singh. Abhishek’s maternal grandfather, former president of Advocates Association Naval Kishore Singh, maternal grandmother Sushila Singh and many relatives have congratulated him.
Abhishek has cracked IIT
Let us tell you that after qualifying for RK Mission School, Abhishek Chauhan cracked IIT as soon as he entered Intermediate. After IIT, there was an opportunity for a great package abroad, but here there was an insistence on staying in our country. There was no attention towards that.
Abhishek’s focus was only on civil service. There was concentration and dedication due to which he became successful today. Abhishek was engaged in penance for this moment with great intensity in a room for the last two years.
He neither took the help of any coaching nor any tuition. Abhishek only used the medium of self study and internet and laid the flag. Along with this he also told that the future of Indian cricket team, Vaibhav Suryavanshi is his nephew.
