Nepal Election 2026: RSP takes lead in results of 42 seats
The Election Commission of Nepal has declared the results of 42 seats so far. Of these, Rashtriya Swatantra Party (RSP) has won 32 seats and is now leading in 87 other seats.

RSP’s Dol Prasad Aryal won from Kathmandu-9 seat.
In Kathmandu, Rashtriya Swatantra Party candidate Dol Prasad Aryal won the House of Representatives (Parliament) elections from Kathmandu Constituency No. 9. Aryal is also the party’s vice-chair and coordinator of the Federal Election Mobilization Committee. He defeated his opponent by a huge margin of votes. Dol Prasad Aryal got 35,093 votes, while his main rival, Nepali Congress candidate Nanumaiya Bastola, got only 5,460 votes.

Balen Shah’s Rashtriya Swatantra Party took the lead
Rashtriya Swatantra Party has taken the lead in Nepal’s general elections. The party has so far won 28 seats and is leading on a total of 90 seats, putting former mayor and rapper Balen’ Shah very close to victory. Balendra Shah secured a total of 39,284 votes, which is 28,991 votes more than his rival.

Balen Shah ahead of Oli
Senior Rashtriya Swatantra Party leader and PM candidate Balen Shah has further increased his lead over CPN-UML president and former Prime Minister KP Sharma Oli. According to the latest vote count, Shah has got 39,284 votes, while Oli has got 10,293 votes. As the counting of votes is progressing in the constituency, a big difference is emerging.
