Hapur News: Indecency with Dalit girl on Holi in Hapur, fierce stone pelting between two parties, many injured

On the day of Holi, there was heavy stone pelting between two parties in Hapur district of Uttar Pradesh. It is being told that people of Yadav and Dalit communities came face to face and first there was stone pelting between the two sides and then there was fighting with sticks.

About half a dozen people have been injured in this fighting and stone pelting. It is being told that this dispute started between the two parties over the refusal of giving the goods to a minor girl of Dalit community who had gone to the shop to buy goods and the use of abusive language.

Police force deployed in the village

In view of the situation, police force has been deployed in the village and the police has started searching for the people associated with both the parties who created the disturbance. According to the information, in Majra Nayabasa of village Sikheda of Simbhaoli police station area, a minor girl of Dalit community had reached the shop of a person of Yadav community in the same village to buy some goods.

Shopkeeper misbehaves with Dalit girl

It is alleged that the shopkeeper not only refused to give the goods to the minor girl, but also used derogatory and caste based words at her. When the girl informed her family members about this, people from the Dalit community gathered in large numbers and reached there.

This created an atmosphere of tension in the village and within no time people from both Yadav and Dalit communities came face to face. First there was heavy stone pelting between the two sides and then sticks were also used. In which the news of injuries to about 6 people including two minor children has come to light.

Police reached the spot as soon as information was received

There was chaos in the area due to stone pelting and fighting. When the police of Simbhaoli police station came to know about this, a large number of police forces reached the spot as soon as the information was received.

The police admitted the injured to the hospital for treatment and started searching for the mischievous elements of both the communities who were creating disturbance in the village. In this case, a complaint has been given by the Dalit community, on which the police is busy investigating.
