America attacks Iranian warship in Indian sea, 80 dead so far, many missing

In which there is news of death of many people, while more than 100 people are reported missing. There is also news of many people being injured in the attack. The US Army has released a video of the attack on an Iranian warship in the Indian Ocean.

87 bodies recovered

According to the information, a total of 180 people were aboard the Iranian ship. According to reports, as soon as the distress signal was signaled by the Iranian ship, Sri Lanka The army arrived and started the search and rescue operation. The bodies of 87 people have been recovered by the Sri Lankan Navy from the Iranian warship that sank in the sea.

Sri Lankan Foreign Minister gave information

According to news agency PTI, Sri Lanka said on Wednesday (March 4) that about 32 Iranian citizens have been rescued from a naval ship that sank off its southern coast. While many dead bodies were also recovered. Foreign Minister Vijitha Herath told Parliament that an emergency report was received at 5.08 am about the sinking of the ship Iris Dena, about 40 nautical miles off the southern port district of Galle. After which the Navy and Air Force conducted relief and rescue operations.

Took part in naval exercises in India

The Iranian ship recently participated in an international naval exercise organized by India. However, no response has been given by the Indian Navy on this yet. Sri Lanka’s Foreign Minister said that a total of 180 people were on board the ship.

Statement from US Defense Secretary

Meanwhile, in Washington, US Defense Secretary Pete Hegseth said that an American submarine sank an Iranian warship in international waters. He said that this is the first incident of sinking an enemy ship by torpedo since the Second World War.
