CM Rekha Gupta congratulated Holi, emphasized on brotherhood and developed Delhi.

On the auspicious occasion of Holi, Delhi Chief Minister Rekha Gupta has extended warm wishes to the people of the capital. In his message, the Chief Minister described Holi as not just a festival of colors but a symbol of love, harmony and mutual unity. Referring to the cultural diversity of Delhi, he appealed to all the citizens to end hatred and live together.

The Chief Minister said that Delhi is like ‘Mini India’, where people from every corner of the country settle with their own culture and language. Giving the example of colours, he said, “Just as different colors together create a beautiful picture, similarly our diversity is the real beauty of Delhi. Holi works to bind us together.”

Roadmap for ‘Developed Delhi’

On this occasion, Rekha Gupta also threw light on the priorities of her government. He said that the government is committed to making Delhi a world class city.

Infrastructure: Construction of new roads and modernization of public transport.

Environment and cleanliness: Special schemes to reduce pollution and strengthened sanitation system.

The Chief Minister stressed that the dream of “Developed Delhi” will be realized only when the public and the government work shoulder to shoulder.

Appeal for eco-friendly Holi

While cautioning about environment and health, CM urged the citizens to use natural colors (herbal gulal) instead of chemical colors. He advised to stop wastage of water and celebrate the festival in a safe manner, so that the environment is not harmed.

Social harmony is paramount- CM

Explaining the importance of mutual harmony in Delhi being the capital of the country, the Chief Minister said that brotherhood is our biggest strength. Wishing everyone happiness, peace and prosperity, he expressed confidence that Delhi will touch new heights of development in the times to come.
