PV Sindhu has returned to her home in Bangalore from Dubai. She was stuck in Dubai due to the closure of Dubai Airport due to military tension between Iran-Israel-US. However, she has now returned home and has confirmed it herself in an Instagram story as well as on X (formerly Twitter). However, upon returning home, Sindhu’s husband Venkat also took a dig at her.

Sindhu was stuck in Dubai
Actually, two-time Olympic medalist Sindhu had left via Dubai to reach Birmingham for the prestigious All England Badminton Championships, but flight operations in the Gulf region were suspended after the US and Israel bombed Iran. After this, the situation became more tense due to Iran’s retaliatory action, due to which Dubai was also affected. She could not reach England on time and decided to withdraw from the tournament and return home. However, after returning home, she went straight to her under construction flat in Bangalore. The walls were broken there. In such a situation, her husband Venkat Dutta shared a picture while taking a joke. In this picture, Sindhu is seen standing near a broken wall.

Husband Venkat took a pinch
Venkat wrote, ‘Sindhu has come home and she chose violence against the walls of our house.’ Sindhu shared this post on her Instagram story and while replying to Venkat, wrote, ‘All England did not get to experience my smash, so I made the living room my badminton court.’ Both Venkat and Sindhu also made laughing emojis.

Sindhu gave information on social media
Sindhu informed about her safe return on social media platform X. He wrote, ‘Back home in Bangalore and safe. The past few days have been extremely stressful and uncertain, but I am extremely grateful to be back home. Our heartfelt thanks to the Dubai administration, airport staff, immigration team and all those who helped us during this difficult time. His sensitivity and professionalism is beyond words.

‘Scary and stressful moment’
Sindhu also added, ‘Right now is the time to rest, take care of yourself and decide on future plans.’ On February 28, Sindhu, while sharing her experience from Dubai, had told that there was a blast near her place of stay. He had written at that time, ‘Such moments remind us how fragile normal life is.’ He described this entire incident as a very stressful and scary moment. His Indonesian coach Pratama was also present with him. However, after her safe return, she will now take rest and focus on the upcoming competitions.
