A sensational case came to light on Tuesday in Meena Baroda village of Wazirpur subdivision area near Gangapur City. Bodies of three innocent children were found lying in suspicious condition on the banks of the village pond, while their mother Sangeeta Meena is missing. As soon as the information was received, Wazirpur police station reached the spot and sent the three bodies to the Community Health Centre, Wazirpur. Police have inspected the incident site and started investigation.
According to family members, Sangeeta Meena (27) is from Pehar in Alampur, district Karauli, while she was married to Praveen Meena, a resident of Meena Baroda, about seven years ago. The deceased children include Divya (5 years), Bharti (3 years) and one and a half year old Deepak.
The family alleges that Sangeeta was harassed by her in-laws since her marriage. Family members say that on Monday evening, Sangeeta had released a video on social media accusing some people of assault and harassment. Since then he is missing.
After the incident, the bodies of the children were kept in the hospital, but the father and no member of the in-laws were found present there. At present the police is busy searching for Sangeeta and the case is being investigated from all aspects.
