In the virtual knockout encounter against West Indies, the right-handed batsman batted with great composure and confidence. Chasing the difficult target of 196 runs, he scored an unbeaten 97 runs and took India to the semi-finals of the T20 World Cup. For years, questions have been raised on Sanju Samson as to why he is not able to convert a good start into a big innings. But this time he did not make any mistake.
