‘Iran made arrangements with the Indian government’
Saeed Reza Mosayeb Motlagh, Consulate General of the Islamic Republic of Iran in Mumbai, said that Iran, in collaboration with the Indian government, has made all necessary arrangements to evacuate Indian students from Iran. He said that the Iranian government has made arrangements to evacuate Indian students from the war zone. Students do not need any special permission to exit and can exit Iran by visiting any of our land borders.

Motlagh further said, due to war conditions, all our airports are under control and closed due to security reasons. Therefore, there is no scope for leaving Iran by air travel. He told that students can go out from the land borders of countries like Afghanistan, Turkmenistan. There is no need for students to go through the check post. They just have to have their passport in hand and they can leave Iran.
Congress MP appealed to PM Modi
A day earlier, Lok Sabha MP KC Venugopal had posted on the social media platform ‘X’ and written that the increasing tension in the Middle East has created deep anxiety and fear among Indian citizens. A large number of Indians, including many from Kerala, are living and working in the area. He had appealed to PM Modi and the Ministry of External Affairs to take all necessary diplomatic and logistical steps for the safety of Indians stranded abroad.
Death toll in Iran crosses 500
The death toll in the attack on Iran by America and Israel has crossed 500. American media reported that new explosions were heard in Iran’s capital Tehran on Monday morning.
