
Tension still continues between the countries of West Asia. There is a wave of mourning among Shia Muslims in India after the news of the death of Iran’s Supreme Leader Ayatollah Sayyid Ali Khamenei on the morning of March 1. Shia Muslim Mahasabha in Rajasthan has announced three-day mourning. Majlis and Qurankhani were organized at Dargah Hazrat Abbas.
Rajasthan Shia Muslim Mahasabha General Secretary Syed Asif Ali appealed to the community to mourn for 3 days. He said that this is an irreparable loss for the entire community. A special majlis was organized to honor the martyr.
Maulana Syed Kazim Ali Zaidi Saheb presided over the Majlis organized at Dargah Hazrat Abbas. Deep regret was expressed over Khamenei’s martyrdom in the Majlis. The speakers said that this martyrdom given in the month of Ramadan will be remembered in history.
America targeted, called a loss of humanity
During the Majlis, the speakers described America as the enemy of humanity. It was said that Khamenei used to raise his voice in favor of innocents and Palestinians. People of the community paid tribute remembering his services and leadership.
General Secretary Syed Asif Ali in his address appealed to the people to maintain peace. He said that it is important to show discipline and unity during mourning. He will be remembered through religious programs for three days.
Maulana Kalbe Jawad’s appeal and candle march
Shia religious leader Maulana Kalbe Jawad also condemned Khamenei’s death and announced three days of mourning. He appealed to the people to voluntarily keep shops and businesses closed. Also clarified that no one should be forced.
Maulana said that this is a loss to entire humanity. According to him, Khamenei always stood in support of the oppressed and Palestinians. Candle march will be taken out tonight and condolence meetings will be organized across the country.
