After offering funeral pyre to his father, Rinku Singh returned to his duty. He joined the team in Kolkata on Saturday. Saddened by the demise of his father, Rinku Singh said that he will score runs for his father. Indian cricketer Rinku Singh’s father Khanchand died in a hospital in Noida on Friday.
While handling mother Bina Devi and younger sister Neha Singh, he asked them to maintain courage. Handing over the responsibility to elder brother Sonu Singh, Rinku said that now he has to take charge of the house and take special care of his mother.

Rinku Singh’s father Khanchand was admitted to Yatharth Hospital in Noida on Tuesday. He was put on a ventilator and was being given replacement therapy. Khanchand was suffering from stage-4 liver cancer. Rinku’s brother Sonu remained present in the hospital and continued taking care of his father. Rinku also came to meet his father on Tuesday when his health deteriorated.

According to the information, initially the father was against his son playing cricket but once Rinku got a bike as a reward in a match. After that, despite financial constraints, he provided every possible support to Rinku to become a cricketer. Last year, Rinku had gifted a Kawasaki Ninja bike worth Rs 3.19 lakh to her father.
