There is good news for the government teachers of UP. In view of the festival of colors Holi, the Yogi government has taken a big decision. Teachers will get February salary before Holi. Education Department issued instructions. Other departments of UP are also preparing on similar lines. It has been said in the order that salaries should be paid before March 2. Holi festival will be celebrated on 4th March. Earlier, due to this instruction of the Education Department, the joy of the festival among the employees has further increased. There are about six lakh government teachers in UP.
Decision to run additional buses in view of Holi
Before Holi, the UP government has taken many other decisions. For the convenience of passengers on Holi festival, it has been decided to run additional buses from 28th February to 9th March. Along with this, the government has also announced to provide incentive amount of Rs 3,600 to Rs 4,500 to excellent employees.
During festivals Delhi and Ghaziabad Travel pressure is high, including from Western Uttar Pradesh, hence adequate number of buses and staff will be ensured in advance in these areas. Employees working in depots and regional workshops will also be given a lump sum amount of Rs 2100 for 10 days of continuous duty and Rs 1800 for nine days of duty.
Holi begins in Braj, UP
Holi excitement has reached its peak in Braj region even before the rest of the country. The supernatural love of Radha and Krishna is visible everywhere in Braj including Mathura, Vrindavan, Barsana, Nandgaon, Gokul, Mahavan and Baldev. Along with the local people, devotees coming from abroad can also be seen dancing, singing and enjoying the festival of colors. The famous Lathmar Holi of Barsana and Nandgaon is also a center of attraction. On the day of Phalgun Shukla Navami (25 February) in Barsana, and on the day of Dashami (26 February) in Nandgaon, the ‘Huriyares’ of both the places go to each other’s village and play Lathmar Holi.
