IND vs ZIM T20 World Cup: Zimbabwe head coach Justin Sammons knows that India will adopt an aggressive approach against them in the Super Eight match of the T20 World Cup on Thursday, but he believes that after the lessons learned from the crushing defeat to West Indies, his weak team will be fully prepared for this important match.

Mumbai: West Indies defeated Zimbabwe by 107 runs in the Super-8 match of T-20 World Cup 2026 on Monday night. India also had to face defeat by South Africa by 83 runs in its first match and Zimbabwe head coach Sammons feels that the Indian team will try to dominate against them from the beginning.
After the one-sided defeat against West Indies, head coach Justin Sammons said, ‘We know how India will play and their method will also be similar to that adopted by West Indies. India will leave no stone unturned. He said:
We will learn a good lesson from this. How we deal with pressure, how we stay calm and how we act quickly. How we try to make changes and how we spoil the rhythm of the batsmen.
Acknowledging the mistakes made against the West Indies, Sammons said that the predictions made by the opposition team about his team, especially the bowling unit, proved correct and such mistakes will have to be avoided against India. He said, ‘We can be a little more intelligent in this matter. The ground in Chennai will be a little bigger and perhaps in this respect we will feel a little more comfortable there.
