ICC has started selling tickets for the knockout matches of T20 World Cup 2026. Along with this, ICC has also made a big announcement regarding ticket refund. ICC has said in its statement that if Pakistan team reaches the final or semi-final then in such a situation the fans will get full refund of the tickets. This refund will be for the match between Kolkata and Ahmedabad.

Fans will get ticket refund because of Pakistan
Dubai: Tickets for the semi-finals and final of the T20 World Cup have become available for sale. Along with this, ICC has also announced that if Pakistan plays in the semi-finals or final, then the full money of those ticket holders who have purchased tickets for the matches in Kolkata (semi-finals) and Ahmedabad (final) will be refunded. Even if Sri Lanka qualifies and plays the semi-finals against any team other than India, the money will be refunded because in such a situation it will play at home.
Tickets became available for sale on Tuesday at 7 pm Indian time. Fans will be able to buy tickets for the first semi-final on March 4, the second semi-final on March 5 and the final on March 8. The first semi-final will be played at R Premadasa Stadium in Colombo or Eden Gardens in Kolkata while the second semi-final will be played at Wankhede Stadium in Mumbai.
Pakistan’s knockout matches will be held in Sri Lanka
If Pakistan qualifies for the semi-finals, they will play the first semi-final in Colombo on March 4. If Pakistan does not qualify for the semi-finals but Sri Lanka qualifies and plays someone other than India, then Sri Lanka will play in the first semi-final in Colombo.
If none of these apply or if India plays Sri Lanka, the first semi-final will be played in Kolkata on the same date. The final will be played in Ahmedabad but if Pakistan plays in the final then this match will be played in Colombo. If tickets are purchased for a venue where the first semi-final or final does not take place, the ticket holder will be refunded. All tickets can be purchased at ‘tickets.t20worldcup.com’.
