New Delhi: The schedule of ICC Women’s T20 World Cup 2026 has been announced. England is hosting the tournament. The first match of the Women’s T20 World Cup will be played between England and Sri Lanka on June 12 at Edgbaston. The Indian women’s cricket team’s campaign is starting from June 14 with the match against Pakistan.

The Indian women’s team will face Netherlands in its second match. This match between the two teams will be played on June 17. After this, India will clash with South Africa on 21st June, while India and Bangladesh will clash on 25th June. In the last match of the league, Team India will face Australia on June 28.

A total of 12 teams are participating in the ICC Women’s T20 World Cup 2026, which are divided into two groups. Group-1 has teams from Australia, South Africa, India, Pakistan, Bangladesh and Netherlands. It is also being called the Group of Death, because except the Netherlands team, all the teams in this group are competitive. In such a situation, the tournament is not going to be easy at all for Team India. Netherlands women’s cricket team is participating in the T20 World Cup for the first time, whose first match will be with Bangladesh.

Whereas in Group-2 there are teams of West Indies, England, New Zealand, Sri Lanka, Ireland and Scotland. The final match of the tournament starting from June 12 will be played at Lord’s on July 5. There will be a total of 33 matches in the Women’s T20 World Cup 2026 at seven venues. Apart from Lord’s, matches will be held at Old Trafford Cricket Ground, Headingley, Hampshire Bowl, Bristol County Ground, Edgbaston and The Oval.
