Rakesh Sah (60 years), resident of Aurai police station area, who is the father of four children. But his own teacher Shaista Parveen (28 years) has been accused of kidnapping and forced religious conversion. While filing an FIR in the police station, Shaista’s brother said that on February 18, his sister had left for school. But did not return. The family members allege that Rakesh Sah got Shaista converted by threatening her and took her with him to Nepal. Rakesh’s wife and daughter have also been made accused in this case.

The teacher released the video and clarified
Seeing the growing controversy, teacher Shaista Parveen has released a video from Nepal rejecting the claims of the family members. In the video she said that I have married Rakesh Sah on my own will and with full understanding. There is no pressure on me. I am completely safe. The allegations being made against my husband are baseless, he should not be harassed.

Police action and security arrangements
Considering the seriousness of the matter and the possible communal twist, the police administration is on full alert. On the instructions of East SDPO-1 Alay Vats, police patrolling has been increased in the village. In-charge police station officer Ranovar Parveen said that an FIR has been registered and investigation has been started. The police have seized the mobile phones of the named accused and started scanning the call detail records (CDR). According to the police, initial investigation has confirmed that both of them are in Janakpurdham, Nepal. The police is now taking the legal process forward on the basis of evidence so that peace is maintained in the area.
