
Following the order of the POCSO court, an FIR has been registered in Jhunsi police station in the case of allegations of sexual exploitation against Swami Avimukteshwarananda Saraswati. The police have filed a case under Section 5/6 of the POCSO Act and other related sections. It is being told that Swami Rambhadracharya’s disciple Ashutosh Brahmachari had filed a complaint in Jhunsi police station on behalf of two alleged minor victims alleging sexual exploitation. It is alleged that despite filing the complaint, FIR was not registered.
On this, on January 28, an application was filed on behalf of the applicant in the District Court under Section 173 (4). Hearing the case, ADJ Rape and POCSO Special Court accepted the application on February 21 and ordered registration of FIR. Following the instructions of ADJ POCSO Act Vinod Kumar Chaurasia, Jhunsi police station has registered a case. Police say that the investigation of the case has been started and further action will be taken based on the facts.

According to the FIR lodged in Jhunsi police station of Prayagraj, apart from Swami Avimukteshwaranand Saraswati, his disciple Mukdanand Brahmachari and two-three unknown people are also involved in it. Let us tell you that according to the complainant Shakumbhari Peethadhishwar Ashutosh Brahmachari, a minor and an adult child had come to him during the Magh Mela. Who had seriously accused Swami Avimukteshwarananda Saraswati of misdeeds.
