Bharatpur: Bullet hits a family crossing the road, woman biker dies, 3 injured

A horrific road accident has occurred on National Highway-21 in Bharatpur district of Rajasthan. Near Ludhawai village of Sewar police station area, a speeding Bullet motorcycle hit a family crossing the road. In this tragic accident, a young man riding a bike and an elderly woman have died, while another woman and two innocent girls are seriously injured.

According to the police, this incident happened late night on Thursday (February 19). Sushila’s wife Omprakash, 58, resident of Barkoli village of Uchhain police station, had come to her elder son’s in-laws house (Ludhawai) to attend a wedding ceremony. After getting down from the bus, she was crossing the road on foot with her daughter-in-law Jai Dei and two granddaughters (Anishka and Sarita). Then suddenly a high speed Bullet motorcycle caught all four of them.

Bike rider dragged for 50 meters

ASI Vrindavan Singh of Sewar police station said that the collision was so terrible that the youth riding the bike got dragged on the road for about 50 meters and all the people fell badly on the road and got injured. There was hue and cry on the spot after the accident. Local people immediately informed the ambulance and police.

Two were declared dead in the hospital

As soon as the information was received, the police reached the spot and immediately took all the five injured to the district RBM hospital. Where after investigation the doctors declared Sushila and the bike driver dead. The deceased bike driver has been identified as 37-year-old Virendra Singh (son Geetam Singh). Virendra was a resident of Aligarh district (Gonda police station, village Siktari) of Uttar Pradesh. He ran a hotel in Mehandipur Balaji and was returning to his village at the time of the incident.

The bodies were handed over to the relatives after post-mortem.

The police informed Virendra’s family members based on the documents found with him. Today, post-mortem of the bodies of both the deceased has been done and they have been handed over to their families. Meanwhile, the injured daughter-in-law Jai Dei and the two girls (Anishka and Sarita) are undergoing treatment in the hospital. After this tragic incident, the happiness of marriage has turned into mourning.
