
The fight over tariffs has intensified in American politics. US President Donald Trump, showing a tough attitude after the recent decision of the Supreme Court, has announced to impose 10 percent additional global tariff on all countries. Trump clearly said that he will sign a new executive order today itself. President Trump said today I will sign an order imposing a 10% global tariff under Section 122. This will be in addition to the normal charges already being charged.
He also informed that the administration is initiating several investigative processes under other provisions including Section 301, so that America can be protected from the alleged unfair trade policies of other countries and companies.

The President reiterated that his goal is to make America great again and this requires tough trade policies. He said that tariffs are a strong weapon to protect American industries and workers. Trump also made it clear that if one route is closed, he has other options. According to him, the Supreme Court’s decision is not in the interest of America and the government is working rapidly on further strategy.
