About 55 km long stretch of Delhi-Meerut Namo corridor from New Ashok Nagar to Meerut South Namo station is operational. The remaining sections are going to be connected to this. In this, about five kilometer long stretch from Sarai Kale Khan to New Ashok Nagar on Delhi side is now ready. The 21 km stretch from Meerut South to Modipuram is also complete.

Expansion

Namo Bharat Rail, which is till now reaching New Ashok Nagar in Delhi, will start reaching Sarai Kale Khan in the next three days. With this, passengers will have direct access to Indian Railways, Delhi Metro and buses along with Namo Rail. There will be a trial run of this train today i.e. on Friday while Prime Minister Modi will inaugurate both the corridors two days later on 22nd February.
