3 MLAs not in favor of making Sunetra Pawar NCP Chief? Political turmoil due to Rohit Pawar’s claim

NCP (SP) leader Rohit Pawar said, “35 MLAs and 32 office bearers have signed to make Sunetra Kaki the national president of NCP, the rest who have not signed, it is a matter of discussion in their own party.”

He further said, “You should see the list of those who have not signed, ask them why they did not sign?” When Sunetra Kaki’s name is announced and she becomes the party president, we should congratulate her. Rohit Pawar had also claimed during a press conference on Wednesday (February 18) that some MLAs did not support the proposal to make Sunetra Pawar the national president.

What did Rohit Pawar say on the merger of the two factions of NCP?

Sharad Pawar faction leader Rohit Pawar also responded to the questions asked about the merger of the two factions of NCP. He said, “We were discussing the merger with Ajit Dada Pawar, but he is no more in this world. We were coming together after seeing Ajit Dada and the work done by him. A member of his family should be made the national president of that party. Sunetra Kaki has been made Deputy CM in Maharashtra Government. Except the Finance Department, all other departments have been given to Sunetra Kaki.

Rohit Pawar had claimed in the press conference on Wednesday that Ajit Dada wanted to make many changes in the leadership of NCP. He said, “They wanted a young person to become the state president. Amol Kolhe’s name was proposed, that is why Amol Kolhe attended many meetings. Discussions were taking place in this regard. But today the grandfather with whom we were comfortable is no more. His emotional and political desires were secondary. He wanted both the party families to come together.
