First air taxi in India to be launched in Ahmedabad, Chennai, Pune, Bengaluru by 2028

To go to school or college, children will not take bus, auto, tempo or rickshaw, but will alight by air taxi on the school and college campus. Let us tell you that preparations to run the country’s first air taxi in India have been completed. In this, three people will be able to sit at a time and can easily go to their office by sitting in an air taxi like Ola, Uber, Auto and Tempo in the same city. Air taxi will take you to school, college or market in the blink of an eye. Its approval has been received from the Government of India and the remaining formalities are being completed in collaboration with the Directorate General of Civil Aviation (DGCA).

Let us tell you that these days experts from all over the country and the world have come to Bharat Mandapam. Because the India AI Impact Summit is going on here, in which the country’s first air taxi arrived and people from all over the country and abroad were stunned to see it. There was a queue of people to see it. Its most special thing is that it is made in India. That means India has made it itself, it is not a product of any China, Japan or foreign company.

3 people will be able to sit at a time

The option available from the company said that 3 people will be able to sit in this air taxi at a time. There will be one pilot and two passengers. Its fare has not been decided yet. Work is still going on on how to book it. The first air taxi will be operational by 2028 and it will start in Ahmedabad, Chennai, Pune And it will be done from Bengaluru. After that it will be run all over India. In 2021, a small model was made, which has flown up to 9000 kilometers.

Vikalp told that our experiment has been completely successful and our company was working on making air taxi since 2019 in collaboration with IIT Madras. Its most special thing is that air taxi will transport passengers from one place to another in the same city, just as buses, autos and rickshaws transport passengers from one place to another in the same city. Similarly, air taxi will work.

Air ambulance is also being made

Vikalp told that his company is not only making air taxis. In fact, it is also making air ambulance. Because ambulances get stuck in traffic jams on the roads, due to which people’s lives are in danger. With the construction of air ambulance, people will be taken to the hospital at the right time. He also informed that the entire corridor has been prepared in collaboration with the Directorate General of Civil Aviation (DGCA), in which air taxi and air ambulance will be operated.

He said that air taxis will operate only on the existing helipads, but as their number increases, they will operate only on existing helipads. Anyway, we will increase the infrastructure and also increase the helipad. How to book it? Work is still being done on this. Everything will be ready within the next two to three months.
