BCCI’s sports science team is managing Bumrah’s workload with caution and he is given rest from time to time. However, Kotak said in the press conference before the match, I do not think that Bumrah will be given rest and will take a decision about it later.
Coach is not worried about Abhishek
Regarding Abhishek Sharma’s fitness, he replied positively. Abhishek could not play against Namibia due to stomach infection but was out for zero against Pakistan. Kotak said, he was not well and in the last match he was out in the first over. Now we don’t want to analyze too much and that’s okay. Abhishek has not been able to open his account yet in this World Cup and he must be hoping that he plays a big innings against Netherlands.
