For this, when he removed some upper parts of the wall, behind him he saw magazines for adults, old glass bottles and sacks. When he opened the sacks, what was inside made him feel ill.

According to the report of Daily Star News website, Kaija Bretzius and her husband Brian bought a second hand house in Pennsylvania. The condition of the house was good, hence he decided to buy it as it would not require any repairs. But later he thought that the insulation of the walls of the house should be improved. Brian started opening parts of the wall. Then they saw very strange things behind the wall.

First of all he saw old glass bottles in the wall. This was not a shocking thing, so he looked away. Then he found some magazines from the 1980s which were for adults. This was quite a shocking thing for him. Then he tried to search deeper inside the wall. When searched with flash light, they found old sacks. Kaija was very scared to see this, she thought that maybe someone had buried the dead bodies of children in it, because there was a bad smell coming from it. But when they opened it, there were dead chickens wrapped in paper. They found the bones of about 20 dead chickens and other small creatures in the sack. Some bones were wrapped in newspapers from 1920 to 1930.

When the couple was removing the bones, they started falling ill. He had fever for several days. Kaija feels that bacteria from the bones might have entered his body while breathing, due to which he might have fallen ill. They believe that these animals may have been used in an ancient folk magic ritual called pow-pow, which is Dutch magic. Before buying the house, he had done a safety check of the house and done radon testing, but he did not find anything. They did not think that they would find dead animals in the wall. Due to this damage and health risk, he had to rebuild the walls. His insurance did not cover it. For this reason, till now he has invested 20 thousand dollars (18 lakh rupees). But the repair is still not complete.
