CBSE 10th-12th board exam from today: More than 43 lakh students appeared, exam at 15,649 centres, strict arrangements
The 10th and 12th board examinations of the Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) are starting from Tuesday i.e. today. This year a total of more than 43 lakh students are registered in both the classes. Class 10th exam will start with Mathematics Basic and Mathematics Standard paper. Whereas the 12th exam will start with Biotechnology, Entrepreneurship and Shorthand subjects. According to the board, 25,08,319 students are registered in class 10th, which includes 14,08,546 boys and 10,99,773 girls. There are 18,59,551 candidates registered in class 12, of which 10,27,552 are boys and 8,31,999 are girls. Read full news

Solar eclipse: First solar eclipse of the year today, Ring of Fire will not be visible in India
The first solar eclipse of the year 2026 will take place on Tuesday, February 17. This will be a special type of circular solar eclipse, which is called Ring of Fire in common language. According to Indian time, this eclipse will start at 12:31 pm and will last for about 2 minutes 20 seconds.
