While in Bhavad village of Gohana, people were dancing with happiness on the tunes of DJ, suddenly a sad news turned the entire atmosphere into silence. Wedding celebrations of two daughters were going on, one had been bid farewell and the marriage procession of the other was awaited. Then the news of the death of five of Rohtak’s best friends in a road accident reached and within no time the sound of the shehnai turned into screams.
The DJ was immediately stopped, there was mourning in the decorated pandal and people ran towards the hospital crying. That courtyard of happiness was filled with tears in a moment. The entire village was in deep shock.

At the Bhagat Phool Singh Memorial Women’s Medical College, Khanpur Kalan, the relatives and close relatives of the youth who were victims of the accident told that in Bhavad village, there was a wedding of Sonika, daughter of Jeweler Numberdar’s son Sevendra and Monica, daughter of brother Bijendra.

Sonika had a relationship with Gaurav in village Kalwa of Jind. At the same time, Monica’s marriage was fixed with Rohit of Fatehpuri village of Jhajjar district. One of the two cousin sisters had already been bid farewell while the marriage procession of the other was to arrive late in the evening. As soon as information about the accident was received, the drums and DJ were stopped immediately.
Rohit alias Golu of Rohtak village Ghuskani was the only son of the family. He has a sister who is married. He got married only two months ago. Now his wife and aged parents are left in the family.

Horrific accident in Gohana, 5 youths from Rohtak returning after filling rice died
Five youths traveling in a car died in a horrific accident at 7 pm on Friday evening on the Bhavad-Ghadwal link road of Gohana, Sonipat. The youth killed in the accident was returning home after performing the ritual of filling rice at a wedding ceremony in Bhavad village, when his car went out of control and collided with a tree. After the accident, passers-by and police took the injured to Khanpur Medical College.
