Akhilesh Yadav lashed out at CM Yogi’s statement, ‘True figures are not given on Maha Kumbh deaths’

Samajwadi Party President and former Chief Minister of Uttar Pradesh Akhilesh Yadav said on Saturday (February 14) that using derogatory language against Shankaracharya is ‘verbal violence’ and a sin. Akhilesh Yadav said in a post on ‘X’, ‘Anyone can wear ‘chole’, but his words should be exposed.

Using highly derogatory and abusive words about the most revered Shankaracharya ji is verbal violence and also a sin. Along with the person who said this, those who have patted the tables in flattery will also be guilty of sin. He said that when Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) MLAs face the public outside the House, the public will put their House on the road.

Akhilesh Yadav commented on Chief Minister Yogi’s statement

Akhilesh Yadav’s comment is important because it comes a day after the statement given by Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath in the Assembly on Friday (February 13). Chief Minister Yogi had said in the Assembly that not everyone can use the title of ‘Shankaracharya’ and religious decorum and rule of law should be maintained during all programs.

Former Chief Minister Akhilesh Yadav said, ‘Those who do not give true figures on the deaths of Maha Kumbh, find corruption even in compensation, do not give account of those to whom compensation has not reached, get the cases against them dropped. Such people do not have the moral right to question someone else’s ‘religious position’.

‘When ego, not humans, speaks, this is what happens’- Akhilesh Yadav

Akhilesh Yadav said, ‘In his statement the Chief Minister said ‘rule of law’. As soon as he gets attention, will he call the House again to speak of ‘rule of law’ or will he stand on his feet and make a ‘wobbly atonement’. This is what happens when ego, not humans, speaks. Ego turns values into vices. That person loses respect and honor in the society, about whom there is a popular saying, ‘When you open your mouth, you speak badly.’

The SP leader said, this is an extended form of ‘haata nahi bhaata’. It is their arrogance to humiliate and defeat the society against which they have always done politics of hatred, even in matters of religion. If you want, you can release the controversial film without changing its name and make it tax free.

He said that in the next election, the society will respond to its insult and the notice of the state president by casting every vote against him, will remove his government and form a new government and then will eat dal-baati together without fear. Yadav said, ‘The indecent statement made on Shankaracharya ji has been recorded forever in the House. If we call it condemnable then even the word condemnable will feel condemnable.

‘Not everyone can use the title ‘Shankaracharya’ – CM Yogi

Nearly a month after the dispute between the district administration and Swami Avimukteshwaranand Saraswati during the Magh Mela in Prayagraj, Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath said not everyone can use the title ‘Shankaracharya’. He said that religious decorum and law should be followed in all events.

Yogi Adityanath Said, ‘Not everyone can write Shankaracharya in front of their name. Not everyone can claim to be the ‘Acharya’ of any ‘Peetha’ and spoil the atmosphere. Everyone has to live within certain limits.
