A very painful incident happened on the highway in Bhadohi district of Uttar Pradesh. Where after a head-on collision between two motorcycles, two cousins ​​riding a motorcycle fell on the side of the road and were crushed by a speeding truck, killing both of them on the spot. According to the police, this accident happened on Friday night at 10 pm on Highway 19 near Lala Nagar Toll Plaza of Gopiganj police station area. The police gave this information on Saturday, 14th February.

Collision with a speeding motorcycle near toll plaza

Gopiganj police station in-charge (SHO) Shailesh Kumar Rai said that Vivek Raj Bind (18) and his cousin Suraj Bind (19) from Sarauli village of Aurai police station were going to Gopiganj market on a motorcycle when another motorcycle coming at a high speed near the toll plaza hit the cousins’ motorcycle. Due to this, Vivek and Suraj fell on one side of the road. In this incident, three youths riding on another motorcycle also fell on the other side.

Police said that as soon as Vivek and Suraj fell on the road, a speeding truck going towards Varanasi allegedly went ahead and crushed them. Police said that the three youths injured in the collision suffered minor injuries, but they escaped safely and ran away leaving their bike there.

The uncle of the youth registered a case under section 281, 125, 106(1)

Police station in-charge Rai said that on receiving the information, Shyam Dhar Bind, the uncle of the slain youth, identified them, on the basis of whose complaint, sections 281 (rash driving or riding on a public road), 125 (A) and 125 (B) (act endangering the life or personal safety of others) and 106 (1) of the Indian Justice Code (BNS) were registered against the absconding truck driver and three unidentified youths. A case has been registered under (Causing death of someone due to negligence). Police said that the bodies have also been sent for post-mortem.
