The incident of firing in broad daylight on Friday in Revdar town of Sirohi district of Rajasthan created a sensation in the area. The miscreants opened fire indiscriminately targeting the Saresi Auto Finance office located on Jirawal Road. After the incident, there was chaos in the area and an atmosphere of panic was created in the market.
According to the information, the miscreants who came in a pickup vehicle in the afternoon, directly reached the office located on Jirawal Marg. It is alleged that as soon as the miscreants entered the office, they took out their weapons and started firing. The sudden firing created panic among the employees present in the office and the people nearby.
A major incident was averted due to the bravery of the young man
It is being told that a young man present inside the office showed courage and intervened and confronted the attackers. During the scuffle, the young man snatched the gun from the hand of one of the attackers, due to which a major incident was averted. The bravery of the young man saved the lives of other employees.
After the firing the miscreants fled from the spot. According to eyewitnesses, the miscreants fled in the direction of Jiraval in a speeding pickup. As soon as information about the incident was received, Revdar police reached the spot and blocked the area. The police have started scanning the footage of CCTV cameras installed nearby.
Anger among traders, questions on law and order
After the incident, a huge crowd of people gathered at the spot. There is anger among the traders and they have raised questions regarding law and order over this incident which happened in broad daylight. Local people say that such incidents on the main road have created an atmosphere of fear among the common people. Police officials said that in the preliminary investigation, there is a suspicion of mutual rivalry or transaction dispute. However, the real reasons can be revealed only after investigation. The police have registered a case and intensified the search for the attackers and claimed to arrest them soon.
At present, efforts are being made to maintain peace by deploying additional police forces in the area.
