Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath announced to increase the pension amount of about 1.06 crore destitute women, elderly and disabled people during the discussion of the motion of thanks on the Governor’s address in the Assembly on Friday. He said that it was not announced in the budget, but we are going to increase it. After the announcement of CM, the pension amount will be increased from Rs 1000 to Rs 1500. BJP had also announced this in its resolution letter.
