
Echoes of Kanpur’s Lamborghini case were heard in the Uttar Pradesh Assembly on Thursday. Samajwadi Party MLA Naseem Solanki raised this issue while speaking on the Governor’s address. Expressing concern over the increasing problem of drug abuse in Kanpur city, he said that the driver driving the car in this accident was also in an intoxicated state. This matter should be given priority and attention.
SP MLA Naseem Solanki from Sisamau seat of Kanpur raised the issue of women’s safety and the growing drug menace in the House. The SP MLA said that women’s safety is the most serious issue in the state. Molestation and domestic violence in cities have created a feeling of insecurity among women.
Naseem Solanki mentioned Lamborghini scandal
The SP MLA further said that the spread of drug addiction in the urban areas of Kanpur is a matter of great concern. Today’s young generation falls into the trap of drugs. He said that I am saying this because there was an accident in Kanpur recently involving a Lamborghini car, in which the driver was in an intoxicated state. So this matter should be given priority.

During this time, Naseem Solanki also demanded beautification of religious places in the House and running of special buses for women. He said that religious and historical places in Sisamau area should be beautified. These include Balkhandeshwar Temple, ancient Gurudwara located on GT Road, Idgah complex, ancient Dargah of Majnun Baba.
Apart from this, free bus services should be run for women to Ayodhya, Kashi, Mathura, Amritsar, Ajmer Sharif, Nizamuddin Aulia Sharif so that women of all sections can visit their religious places safely and with respect. In the end, she ended her speech with a poem and said – “Neither did I fall, nor did the tower of my hopes fall, but people fell many times to make me fall. It was not a question of poison, I drank it while laughing. The pain came when I came alive again.”
