In the match, after winning the toss, Namibia asked Team India to bat first. The Indian team scored 86 runs in just 6 overs, which became the biggest power play score of Team India in T20.
After this, in the very next over, Team India touched the figure of 100 runs. India completed 100 runs in 6.5 overs. With this, Team India made a new record in the T20 World Cup. Team India broke the record of the fastest team 100 in the history of T20 World Cup. Earlier this record was in the name of Netherlands, who had scored 100 runs in 7 overs against Ireland in 2014, but Team India achieved the feat of scoring a hundred in just 41 balls against Namibia.
