The police have arrested the accused after an encounter who shot dead businessman and tennis player Arjun in broad daylight in front of the Tibetan Market in Dehradun, the capital of Uttarakhand. During the action at different places, both the miscreants were shot in their legs. Police have recovered two country-made pistols and a scooter from their possession.
After this massacre, an alert was issued in the entire district. On the instructions of SSP Dehradun, intensive checking campaign and blockade was done from the city to the rural areas. Many police teams were continuously raiding in search of the accused.

While checking in Ladpur forest of Raipur police station area early in the morning on Thursday (February 12), the police spotted a suspect. When the police team tried to stop him, he started firing. In retaliation, the police also opened fire, in which the criminal was hit in the leg. He was caught injured and sent to Coronation Hospital for treatment.

Meanwhile, the second action took place in Laltappar police post area. During checking here, a young man riding a scooter was signaled to stop, but he started running away. After being chased, he entered a ruined factory complex and opened fire on the police team from there. In the retaliatory action of the police, he was shot in his right leg and he was also caught on the spot.

According to police officials, during interrogation, both the accused have confessed to carrying out the Arjun massacre that took place in front of the Tibetan Market. At present both of them are undergoing treatment in the hospital and they are being interrogated thoroughly amidst security. The police is also trying to find out who are the people behind this murder and whether anyone else played a role in it.
