Chitrakoot: Often various kinds of discussions take place regarding police personnel, but this time the picture is different in Chitrakoot district. An example of police vigilance and courage has been presented here. The GRP team at Chitrakoot Dham Karvi railway station has averted a major accident by saving the lives of two people with its agility. After the CCTV video of the incident surfaced, the police is being highly appreciated on social media.
Uncle and nephew were boarding the moving train
The incident occurred when the Uttar Pradesh Sampark Kranti Express going from Manikpur Junction towards Nizamuddin was leaving from platform number one of Chitrakoot Dham Karvi station. The train was slowly gaining speed, during which the uncle-nephew duo, who had reached Delhi, tried to board the moving train in a hurry, but due to the increasing speed of the train, both of them lost balance. As soon as the hands of both the passengers slipped, they started moving towards the dangerous gap between the platform and the train.
GRP police saved life in moving train
During this period, GRP police station chief Shalini Singh Bhadauria and her team, who were on duty at the platform, have shown amazing promptness. Without wasting a moment, the team rushed and caught both of them before they could fall towards the track and pulled them towards the platform. This entire incident has been captured in the CCTV cameras installed on the platform.
It is clearly visible in the video how the policemen, without caring for their lives, move forward quickly and pull both the passengers to safety. Both of them suffered minor injuries due to the fall, but they are completely safe. However, after its video went viral, people of Chitrakoot are seen praising the police and people say that if the police had not caught them, both of them could have died together.
