Married to a woman 35 years younger, 70 year old man becomes father, son born on his birthday!

It is said that age is just a number. But nowadays people have started ignoring this number also. This is why people are not looking at age in relationships, they only see love. A couple also did the same. Whereas there is a difference of 35 years between them. The husband is 70 years old and has recently become the father of a son. His son was born on his birthday.

According to the Daily Star report, 35-year-old Glenda gave birth to her son Roy Briley III on June 6, 2025. The same day was her husband Roy’s 70th birthday. Glenda and Roy met in November 2020. She had gone to Roy’s office to get advice related to business. Roy has a real estate business and also an insurance company. She wanted to start her own insurance business. Both of them talked and they enjoyed each other’s company. Roy suggested going for dinner that evening and Glenda agreed.

The couple got married
Within a week both of them went on dates several times. What happened next, both of them fell in love with each other and after 2 months both of them started living together under one roof. Their relationship became serious. In February 2022, Roy took Glenda out for dinner on Valentine’s Day, where he proposed to her. Glenda said yes and both of them got married in July 2022, in which about 20 guests were present. The couple wanted to have a child, hence they resorted to IVF treatment. His treatment started from September 2022.

Roy had earlier fought a battle with prostate cancer. His sperm was collected through surgery but Glenda miscarried twice. But in December 2024, during the third IVF attempt, Glenda became pregnant. Their son was born in June 2025. That child is Roy’s 9th child. Roy had previously had two marriages from which he had 8 children. Roy says that he feels responsible for his wife and newborn child and hence wants to keep himself fit. He exercises often, walking on the treadmill six times a week and also going to the gym several times a week. He says that many people troll his relationship online, but he is not bothered by what others say. On the other hand, Glenda also believes the same. She considers Roy to be very hardworking. Glenda’s mother was unhappy at the beginning of the relationship. He had asked whether she was sure about this relationship. But after living together for 5 years, even the family came to know that he was serious. Now Glenda and Roy are desperate to have another child and for that they will start IVF treatment from December 2026.
