Shankaracharya Avimukteshwaranand’s allegation on Jagadguru Rambhadracharya, ‘conspiring to defame’

Shankaracharya Avimukteshwarananda has made very serious allegations against Jagadguru Rambhadracharya. He has said that Rambhadracharya and the government machinery are conspiring to defame the Jyotish Peeth. When the conspiracy to defame has failed then the help of POCSO Act is being taken. On January 28, a person named Ashutosh Brahmachari had demanded an FIR under POCSO in the court.

On February 9, Shankaracharya’s representatives reached the court and termed the allegations as baseless. The court has sought a reply from the complaining party by 20th February. It is mentioned in a press release that Shankaracharya Avimukteshwaranand Saraswati Maharaj gave 40 days time to the UP government to give the honor of ‘Rashtramata’ to the cow and to make India cow slaughter free, at the same time a gang of so-called religious leaders supported by the government became active. Published a misleading, false, factless and defamatory news related to Shankaracharya, which is against the rules.

Refutation of FIR against Avimukteshwarananda Saraswati

It was further said that till now no FIR has been registered against Avimukteshwaranand Saraswati under the POCSO Act, nor has any complaint been registered in any court. Nor has any court in Prayagraj issued summons to him. In such a situation, there is no question of any of his lawyers filing any reply on 10th February.

Application for FIR under POCSO Act on 28 January

It is also said in the press release that on January 28, an application was given by Ashutosh Brahmachari and another in a court in Prayagraj to register an FIR under the POCSO Act, but the court refused to give immediate order and asked for a report from the police. After the spread of false information and news, an application was filed on behalf of Jagadguru Shankaracharya against Ashutosh Brahmachari and one other under sections 22, 23 of the POCSO Act and sections related to defamation and false prosecution of the Indian Justice Code, which the court registered as complaint case CMC number 125/2026 and issued summons to both the accused to appear before them by 20th February. This is the truth.
