Us-israel: Israeli Pm Netanyahu visits White House to meet Trump, Iran and other issues will be discussed – Israeli Pm Netanyahu Visits White House To Meet Us President Trump

Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu reached the White House on Wednesday, where he met US President Donald Trump. During this time, his main agenda was to put pressure on Trump to take a tough stance on Iran’s ballistic missile program. White House Press Secretary Carolyn Leavitt said that issues of energy and regulatory relaxation will also be discussed in the talks.

This is the sixth meeting between Netanyahu and Trump, a year after returning to power. Meanwhile, a small group of pro-Palestinian protesters demonstrated against Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu near the White House.

Earlier, the two leaders had also met in Jerusalem in October, when Trump had announced a ceasefire in Gaza. This new meeting is taking place a few days after the talks between Iran and America in Oman, after which Trump had announced another round of talks. During this meeting, attention can also be paid to the growing international outrage over measures to tighten Israel’s occupation of the West Bank. In this process, settlers are being allowed to purchase land directly from Palestinian owners. However, despite Trump’s prior opposition to any annexation of the West Bank, it is unclear whether negotiations will take place on this issue.

Netanyahu will talk to Trump on Iran issue

While leaving for Washington on Tuesday, Netanyahu said that he would present his position on America’s nuclear talks with Iran in his meeting with Trump. According to ‘The Times of Israel’, before taking off, Netanyahu told the media, ‘I will present to the President my principles and vision for negotiations.’ He further said that these principles are important not only for Israel but for every country in the world that wants peace and security.
