Kota building accident: 20 year old youth died, 5 injured admitted to hospital
A 20-year-old youth has died tragically in a building collapse incident in Talwandi area of Kota. Five people injured in the accident were immediately admitted to the hospital. Chief Medical and Health Officer (CMHO) Dr. Narendra Nagar said that the deceased youth was a resident of West Bengal. The condition of one child among the injured remains critical, while first aid and CPR are being provided to the other four injured. Relief and rescue operations are underway.

Kota Indravihar accident: Om Birla expressed grief, instructions for quick relief and rescue
Lok Sabha Speaker Om Birla has expressed deep sorrow over the incident of building collapse in Indravihar area of Kota. Describing it as extremely painful, he said that he is in constant touch with the district administration. Om Birla has instructed the concerned officials including the District Collector to speed up the relief and rescue operations so that the people trapped in the debris can be rescued as soon as possible.
He has also given instructions to ensure proper and prompt treatment of all the persons injured in the accident. Praying to God for the speedy recovery of the injured, the Lok Sabha Speaker said that it is his wish that the affected families get patience and strength in this difficult time.

Kota Building Collapse Live: 3-storey building collapsed in Kota, one dead; 7 people buried under the debris were pulled out
A 3-storey building collapsed in Kota around 9 pm on Saturday night. Many people are feared buried under the debris. On information, police team and rescue team reached the spot and started the rescue operation. Teams are trying to rescue people from the debris.
According to the information, a restaurant was running inside this building in Talwandi area. At the time of the incident, some customers and 12 to 15 employees working in the restaurant were present, who are feared to be buried under the debris. Electricity has been switched off in the area.
Eyewitnesses said- We heard a sound as if firecrackers were being burst. We immediately reached the spot. Voices of help and help were coming from inside. Work has been going on in the building behind this building for several days. Daily drill machines and hammers were running, due to which there was vibration in the entire building. At around 9 pm suddenly there was a sound of blast and the building fell down.
