According to experts, the risk of death from heart and lung diseases is continuously increasing due to increasing age and pollution in Delhi.

The number of deaths due to heart attacks and heart diseases is continuously increasing in Delhi. Between 2005 and 2024, a total of 3,29,857 people died due to heart reasons. According to the report of Directorate of Economics and Statistics of Delhi Government, pneumonia is also becoming a major cause of deaths.
