Chinelle Henry (two wickets for 34 runs) and Nandini (one wicket for 41 runs) tried to make a comeback for Delhi Capitals in the last overs but could not save the team from defeat. Delhi Capitals scored 203 runs for four wickets with the innings of captain Jemimah Rodrigues (57), Laura Wolvaert (44), opener Lizelle Lee (37) and opener Henry (35 not out).

Jemima hit eight fours in her 37-ball innings and added 76 runs for the third wicket with Wolvaert, who faced 25 balls and hit three fours and two sixes. Henry hit two fours and two sixes in 15 balls and played an important role in taking the team’s score beyond 200 runs by making a stormy partnership of 55 runs in just 24 balls for the fourth wicket with Woolworth.
