UP News: Big relief to cattle farmers! Cheap ‘veterinary medicine centers’ will open in every development block of UP

UP News: Animal medicine centers will be established in Uttar Pradesh with the aim of providing cheap and quality animal medicines to the animal farmers. This center will be established on the lines of Pradhan Mantri Jan Aushadhi Kendra. A veterinary medicine center will be opened in every development block of the district, so that medicines can be made available for the treatment of animals at affordable rates.

Chief Veterinary Officer of Lucknow, Dr. Suresh Kumar said that to open a veterinary center, it will be mandatory for the applicant to submit the name of the pharmacist and his valid registration details, a certificate of minimum 120 square feet space for the shop and a certificate of drug cell license.

Cheap medicines will be available to cattle farmers

Dr. Suresh Kumar said that under this scheme, priority will be given to eligible beneficiaries associated with Prime Minister Krishak Samridhi Kendra and cooperative societies. This scheme will be operated under the Livestock Health and Disease Control Program (LHDCP) of the Government of India. With the establishment of animal medicine centres, cheap medicines will be available to the animal husbandry on time, which will make animal husbandry more profitable.
